Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with New York Jazz Saxophonist Gabriel Evan .. He opened up about his 2021 CD Global Entry that is a playful, skillful exploration of pre-war jazz, early chamber jazz, and bug music. Prior to the pandemic, this native New Yorker performed over 300 shows per year, spanning traditional jazz, gypsy jazz, early Caribbean music, and pop favorites and deep cuts of the 70s and 80s.
