Veteran Jazz Drummer Jon Krosnick of the Band Lunar Octet

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Jazz Drummer Jon Krosnick of the Band Lunar Octet .. He took some time to talk about an impressive new 2021 CD Convergence  and the history of a very storied band .. This band is a decades-long institution in Ann Arbor, Michigan and they are back with a potent collection of originals with wide-ranging influences like mambo, samba, funk, Afrobeat and jazz ..  They initially met 36 years ago and subsequently recorded their 1994 then reunited in the studio 25 years later .. It’s a great story .. Enjoy ..
