Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Exec. Chef of Alaskan Events & Catering & Culinary Illuminary Kirsten Pedersen .. After losing medical school from a horrendous car accident in the 90's, the next best option was to take a horse and a dog with me to culinary school in Vermont. When she returned to Alaska and had plans to head off on an international culinary learning/ apprenticeship journey, life threw another lousy rotten egg and she ended up staying in Alaska. While working at one of the top local restaurants in Anchorage, she also opened a personal chef business. It didn't take much time to discover and value that her personal chef attributes were more appreciated by her own clients. It’s an incredible story. Get into her journey.
