Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with the very talented alto saxophonist and modern day jazz great Ted Nash .. Over the course of a candid and revealing talk, Ted talked about how his career began at 16 with a week in Hawaii and playing with the great Lionel Hampton. From there, he has gone on to play with the best in the business and release a trove of critically acclaimed jazz discs. Currently living out a dream playing with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, he retold some cool stories about his Uncle Ted Nash, those early days he would spend watching recording sessions, what is going on these days and another cool project in the works for the future .. along with much more ..
