living in New York City. MacLeod is best known for his distribution of
royalty-free music through his website, Incompetech.com. MacLeod has made over
2000 pieces of music available for download under a Creative Commons
Attribution License (CC BY) and in the Public Domain. He is the subject of a documentary film scheduled
