He had a very rare break from life on the road to speak with Neon Jazz about what has been going on lately from his home base in Southern California .. Originally from New Jersey, Peter moved on to etch an impressive career since 1972 when he began playing in the Stan Kenton Orchestra, from there he has played with a wide range of musicians like Maynard Ferguson to Steely Dan and was an important part of the Weather Report ..
