Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Alto Saxophonist Grant Stewart – He was born and raised In Toronto and these days he is residing in NYC .. His latest CD is 2017’s Roll On .. and in the early go .. he was taught by the storied jazz cats Barry Harris and Donald Byrd – He has a regular Monday night gig in NYC and loves it when Barry sits in .. and over the years he’s been no stranger to playing with legendary likes .. like  Jimmy Cobb ,Harold Mabern, Louis Hayes ,Curtis Fuller at joints like
