Jazz Sax & Composer Uri Gurvich

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist and Composer Uri Gurvich   He was born and raised in Israel and is on the heels of releasing 2017’s Kinship .. He got his chops groomed in the Tel Aviv Jazz Orchestra and won at 20 the Jazz Player of the Year competition in his native Israel before coming to Berklee College of Music studying under Joe Lovano. He has perfomred concerts in the U.S., Europe, South America and Asia and he has a great many tales to impart ..
