Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview Brooklyn-based Jazz Drummer Colin Stranahan .. Hi latest 2019 CD Stranahan/Zaleski/Rosato’s Live at Jazz Standard is a great album featuring Pianist Glenn Zaleski, and bassist Rick Rosato -  their long-awaited third album Live at The Jazz Standard .. Colin is from Denver, Colorado and has always been surrounded by music. He could have played football, but he went for the music … He will explain .. Life has taken him from Denver to New Orleans and to Brooklyn and he’s played with the likes of Fred Hersch, Terence Blanchard, Dave Kikoski, Kevin Hays, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and he’s grateful for all of it ..
