New York Jazz Singer Marty Elkins

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with New York Jazz Singer Marty Elkins .. We talked to her about her latest 2020 CD Elektone Music – ‘tis Autumn, this COVID-19 world and her long life in music .. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and as a child she listened mostly to the soul stations in New York, and the late night R&B shows like Jocko’s Rocket Ship. From there she found jazz and never looked back .. So please get to know her and dig this interview.
