Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Educator, Podcast Host & Survivor Boots Knighton .. From her cozy mountain home in Teton Valley, Idaho, Boots Knighton hosts The Heart Chamber Podcast: patient stories of open-heart surgery and recovery. In addition, Boots is working on three different books all related to matters of the heart and how if we are willing and open, magic unfolds every day in our lives. She is assisted by her two blue heelers, Georgia and Hamilton and her three cats, Molly, Pearl and Magnus the Mayor. When she isn't creating, you can find her with her husband, Jason, their dogs and sometimes Magnus on van adventures throughout the west, with an emphasis on skiing or mountain biking. She has been an educator since the late 1990s in all facets of education including high school science, middle school mathematics, elementary reading, college level ecology, ski instruction, backpacking, and experiential education.
