Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Journeyman Trombonist & John Fedchock .. His story began in Cleveland and made it’s way to New York City .. and through his journey, he gigged with the legendary Woody Herman and his Orchestra in the 1980s, along with the likes of Gerry Mulligan, Louie Bellson and Rosemary Clooney .. He just released a new big band album in the Summer of 2015 called ‘Like it Is’ .. Over the course of our conversation, he imparted a very cool, intelligent and thoughtful look into his world .. and I think you’re going to dig it ..
