ppalachian Kentucky and went on to grow in innumerable ways at Cal Arts under the teaching of Charlie Haden and Wadada Leo Smith .. Not only is he swayed and involved in jazz, but swims through a plethora of music styles .. these days, he’s listening to a lot of Jimi Hendrix ..
