He’s originally from Philadelphia and learned quite a bit in the clubs there about how to play and what jazz is all about .. Over the years, he’s learned from the esteemed master Ron Carter and play and learn with cats like Johnny O'Neal, Jimmy Cobb, Louis Hayes, and many others .. He’s got a new album coming out on February 26, 2016 simply called Claffy ..
