NYC Jazz Saxophonist Noah Preminger

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC Saxophonist Noah Preminger  .. Over the course of our interview, he enlightened us today’s jazz world and about his roots in music .. He just released a new album - Pivot: Live at the 55 Bar in 2015 and talked about how his  parents were music enthusiasts with a huge record collection that gave him a strong backbone in music .. Originally from Conecticut, he calls New York City his home and he’s done quite well there .. playing and learning from the likes of Cecil McBee, John McNeil, Fred Hersch and many others .. Since his first crucially acclaimed album Dry Bridge Road released just after his 21st birthday, he has been off and running forward with recordings, gigs, teaching and much more ..
