Jazz Trumpeter Steph Richards

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Trumpeter Steph Richards  .. We caught up with her during the COVID-19 lockdown world on June 7, 2020 to talk about her life in music and how things have changed … Before the  release of her 2018 debut Fullmoon, she had steadily established herself in NYC as an engaging experimentalist on the scene, recording with pioneering artists ranging Henry Threadgill, Anthony Braxton and John Zorn to David Byrne and Yoko Ono. Please get to know her and dig this interview.
