Mr. Burnett is a great friend of Neon Jazz, the Kansas City jazz world and the global community of musicians. We caught up with him to discuss his latest and impressive 2024 release called Originals. It’s a homage to family and he’s joined by stellar Kansas City talents like vibraphonist Greg Carroll, bassist Gerald Spaits, guitarist Will Matthews and pianist Roger Wilder.
