Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Author of a Story About Pizza Erica D'Arcangelo .. After many years away, she suddenly found herself home. Her father, at the time, was recovering from heart surgery and struggling to find his place after retiring from his job as an administrator. While working, he also owned and managed our family's pizzeria. It had been open since 1960. While working with her father to bring the pizzeria 'back to life' he looked through old photos and listened while he told her the story of their family. This historical fiction book is an adaptation of the story of her grandfather who immigrated from Italy to America, working as a coal miner. It follows his lifetime journey of family, food, of course, amazing pizza. It’s quite a story. Enjoy.
