Veteran Jazz Clarinetist Ken Peplowski

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Clarinetist & Tenor Saxophonist Ken Peplowski .. Right outta Cleveland, Ohio .. Ken spoke about the joy of releasing his latest 2016 Album Enrapture ..  He also talked about his growth in jazz .. from the start in the the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra at a young age, then studying with Sonny Stitt, moving to NYC  in 1980 and getting hir-ed to play tenor in the Benny Goodman outfit .. he would go on to gig with the best in jazz .. with stars like Mel Torme, Leon Redbone, Charlie Byrd and Peggy Lee  - He’s been on 50 CDs as a soloist, and close to 400 as a sideman – and he is full of great anectdotes, reflections and wisdom..
