Jazz Pianist & Composer Julian Shore

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Pianist and Composer Julian Shore  .. He was born and raised in Narragansett, Rhode Island and was singing
to his father playing the piano while reciting reciting Bach as a kid .. and from there, the music would become a bigger part of his world .. He would go onto learn from the great Hal Crook and go onto Berklee – then New York .. Over the course of our conversation, he talked about living in New York, his new album – 2016’s Which Way Now – and when I told him the cover reminded me of The Beatle’s Revolver .. he said that was one of his favorite albums of all time .. He’s a big talent in jazz ..
