She is an education expert and the founder and director of EBL Coaching, a specialized tutoring program that offers individualized one-on-one home, virtual, and on-site instruction using research-based, multi-sensory techniques. She graduated from Brown University and received her Master's Degree in Special Education from Nova University in Florida. She is the author of Flags and Stars Multi-Sensory Math, a multi-sensory math program that helps students develop a stronger understanding of core math concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Grammy® Award Winning Jazz Woodwind Artist & Composer Ben Kono .. We caught up with him about his new 2024 CD Voyages and a great life in music. This new album is a musical tribute to his Japanese American ancestry, along with being an exploration of cultural heritage and personal history. This Vermont native moved to New York City in 1999 and has since established himself as a versatile improvisor. His talents have been featured on recordings and performances with jazz greats like Bob Berg, Michael and Randy Brecker, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride, and David Liebman. It’s a wonderful story. Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Tenor Saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi, Bassist/Singer Katie Ernst & Drummer Andrew Green of the Chicago-based Band Twin Talk .. We caught up with this trio to talk about their latest 2024 release called On Twin Talk Live. It’s a release that blurs the boundaries between near-telepathic collective improvisation and highly composed songs - out now on CD, Digital and Vinyl. It is the fourth album for this long-running band formed back in 2012. They have steadily drifted from the conventions of the saxophone trio. This trio strives to make their music elastic, spontaneous, and open, embracing new inspirations without stifling the improvisational heart of their work. Dig this interview.

New York City-based Writer, Painter & Filmmaker Steve Clark

Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with New York City-based Writer, Painter & Filmmaker Steve Clark .. Born in New York City, he attended Trinity College where he won the John Curtis Underwood Prize for Poetry and began painting. A Senior Editor for George Plimpton’s The Paris Review (1995 to 2002), Clark published fiction in The Paris Review, poems in various magazines and translated several books from the Spanish and Catalan. From the Ashes (Desde las cenizas), his first bilingual book of poems, along with a series of his “Black Note” paintings, was published to critical acclaim by Huerga y Fierro in Spain, March 2010. It’s a wonderful tale. Enjoy.
