Jazz Drummer, Composer, Educator & Radio Host Jae Sinnett

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Drummer, Composer, Educator & Radio Host Jae Sinnett .. Originally from Pennsylvania, he went to Virginia in the mid-70’s to serve in the United States Navy.  After completing his military service, he began his music career.  He evolved into a consummate drummer, composer and bandleader who has produced 15 albums and he has written over 250 compositions and has scored music for five documentaries .. Over the years, he spent some quality time with worldwide renown musicians like Greg Osby, David Liebman, Jim Black, Donny McCaslin, Terri Lyne Carrington and performing around the USA and Canada, France, Belgium, Mexico and Hong Kong. Kansas City Hammond B-3 Organist Ken Lovern of Guitar Elation on the 2020 Live at the Green Lady Lounge CD

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Kansas City Hammond B3 Organist and Member of Guitar Elation Ken Lovern .. The new Double Live at Green Lady Lounge CD is out and the reviews are glowing .. This very grooving and hard hitting funky jazz band has a number of hallmarks .. but, the namesake revolves around two stellar guitarists .. This new album features compositions from three band members, with Danny Embrey’s tunes making up the majority of the selections.  The group has been playing Thursday nights at Green Lady Lounge in Kansas City for several years now, and this recording is from one of those epic nights where the band plays every Thursday night .. And along with Danny and Ken, it features Brian Baggett on the other guitar and 
Todd Strait on the drums .. He opened up about all things with this CD and the band .. So, get to them and dig this interview my friends ..
