Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Kansas City Jazz Bassist Jeff Harshbarger of the Purna Loka Ensemble on their 2020 CD Metaraga .. So, from the minds of an Indian classical violinist and mathematician that are a part the multi-Grammy Award-winning Turtle Island Quartet – along with Jeff - they have created a new musical syntax based on a geometric framework that integrates Indian classical music and Western music, encompassing elements from classical, blues and jazz.
