Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Boston-based Jazz Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Seba Molnar .. He reached out to the show about his latest 2020 CD Level Up – a Coltrane inspired sound .. He grew up on a hippie commune off the grid in Canton, New York and has been gigging on saxophone and clarinet since the age of twelve. His high school band director Tim Savage introduced him to jazz that led to him going to the Berklee College of Music to study with the likes of George Garzone that has led to his curiosity for new sounds and innovation for him to create a wide array of music that transcends genre.
