Jazz Sax, Flute, Composer and Arranger Don Braden

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist, Flautist, Composer & Arranger Don Braden .. His last ablum was 2015’s Luminosity  - and in the fall of 2016 he will release Earth Wind and Wonder .. Don was born in Cincinnati and raised in Louisville  and in the 1980’s he went to Harvard as an Engineering major – After writing code for software in NYC for some time, music won out .. He went on to jam with cats like Lonnie Smith, Betty Carter, Wynton Marsalis Roy Haynes, Freddie Hubbard, JJ Johnson, Art Farmer .. Over his career he has recoded over 19 CDs as a leader and 80 as a sideman .. And there’s always more to come now that he’s taking a break from teaching ..
