Israeli-born Jazz Saxophonist Arnan Raz

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series Israeli-Born, New York City-based Jazz Saxophonist Arnan Raz .. He reached out to Neon Jazz recently and we are very glad he did .. His latest album called Chains of Stories is another great modern day jazz album and his vignette of stories is the same way .. Born & raised in a small communal village outside of Israel called Kibbutz, he had family members in the arts and music .. and that gave him a backbone to want the sax at age 13 .. From there, he made his way to America and is now in the jazz scene and looking towards the future ..
