He grew up in Toronto and his influences are jazz, classical, Indian classical and world music – He invented and co-created the Bass Veena, an instrument designed for Indian Classical and Indo-Jazz music performance and has had quite a career full of awards and performing with Josh Groban, Ingrid Jensen, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Greg Osby, and many others .. Along with being a musician, he is on faculty at Humber College ..
