Born in New York City - He began studying percussion and music with his father at the age of nine and moved on to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA studying with Alan Dawson, Charlie Marino, and Herb Pomeroy. He talked with Neon Jazz about his latest CD in a series – 2018’s All Star Ensemble, Vol. V: New Dedications and Latin Moods – So, he would move back to New York City in 1970 and play with the best around ..
