Kansas City Jazz Drummer Brad Allen

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Kansas City Jazz Drummer Brad Allen.. . He opened up about his new 2019 CD So Far So Good .. Taking classic songs - stepping out of parameters while infusing smooth guitar jazz with beatnik style percussion, his renditions of television’s “Meet The Flintstones,” to the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There,” are nothing but fun. So, he was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska and is a former U.S. Army drummer and is firmly a part of the Kansas City stomping ground for quality jazz musicians. He talked about quite a bit .. so get to know him and dig this interview my friends ..
