He talked about the tragedy that turned into his 2020 CD Hmmm during mid-May 2020 as the Coronavirus Quarantine of the world was still going strong ..  He is well known for his pop-music career in 1980s and '90's-era Japanese pop music, but jazz has always held sway over him ..
