NYC Jazz Saxophonist, Composer, Educator & Vocalist María Grand

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC Jazz Saxophonist, Composer, Educator & Vocalist María Grand .. We caught up with her from her current base in Mexico to talk about her world of music and latest 2021 CD Reciprocity ..  She grew up in Geneva, Switzerland and moved to New York City in 2011. She has since become an important member of the city's creative music scene, performing extensively in projects  .. She has been the recipient of commissions and residencies and been recognized in a number of polls extolling her jazz prowess .. She has toured Europe, the United States, and South America ..
