Polish Composer, Arranger and Producer Milosz Konarski on Charlie Parker Plays Bossa Nova Album

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Polish Composer, Arranger and Producer Milosz Konarski ..I caught up with him on July 16, 2021 from his base in Poland to discuss the project Charlie Parker Plays Bossa Nova (What If) .. The whole project is an attempt to answer Haruki Murakami’s questions how would Charlie Parker have sounderd hade he not died in 1955, but after several years of recovery, he returned to playing the saxophone and in 1963 when bossa nova was popular & released a bossa nova album .. This audio is the answer and his story is fascinating .. Enjoy ..
