She is a public health nerd turned music teacher. She trained as a classical pianist throughout her childhood at the Sara Harris Piano Studio and as a voice teacher at Sacramento City College Vocal/Choral Program. She is also a member of the John Henny Contemporary Voice Teachers Academy/Mastermind and Body-Based Pedagogy. She also has an M.A. in Spanish. Emily co-founded Empire Arts Collective, a non-profit organization which incubates unique, inclusive performing arts opportunities that create joy and community. Enjoy this Interview ..

Chelsey has spoken at HR and counseling conferences, internationally recognized universities, and national organizations on narcissism in the workplace, how to communicate with difficult people, emotional intelligence, and effective therapeutic strategies for narcissistic abuse survivors. She is the author of "If Only I’d Known! How to Outsmart Narcissists, Set Guilt-Free Boundaries, and Create Unshakeable Self-Worth." Chelsey is also a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist, Registered Play Therapist, and Level 1 Trained Gottman Method Couples Therapist. Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Licensed Therapist Allison Guilbault .. As a licensed therapist she specializes in trauma, anxiety, and sex &intimacy. Her mission is to help people break free from shame and limiting thoughts so they can find their way to radical & relentless self-love & empowerment and re-align with their most authentic self. She started her career as a sexual assault counselor in a NYC emergency room. She later went on be a mental health counselor at Rikers Island Jail, working exclusively with male inmates in solitary confinement. She has worked internationally with the National Health Institute training clinicians in other countries on trauma & trauma recovery. She worked as a researcher for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has presented her research at national conferences. Enjoy this Interview ..
