Over the years, he has served as a staff ophthalmologist for several professional sports teams including MLB, NHL, and NBA as well as working with medal-winning teams at the Beijing and Tokyo Olympic games. He has over 30 years of experience in Sports and Performance Vision. He has authored many journal articles, textbook chapters, and is the co-author of the Dictionary of Ophthalmology, and recently published EYE OF THE CHAMPION a guide for sports vision. He has a YouTube channel with over 13,500 subscribers, releasing a weekly video about sports and performance vision. Lastly, Dr Laby is humbled to have been part of 8 MLB World Series Championships as well as several league championships. Dig this story.
