Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Low Woodwind Player and Composer outta Brooklyn, NY – Brian Landrus .. He has been dubbed the Low Woodwind Expert and he has had a very interesting journey towards his latest, very delightful album called The Deep Below .. He grew up in Reno, Nevada and began playing music at 12, then went professional at 16 .. He’s toured the world with Esperanza Spalding and gigged with cats like Jerry Bergonzi .. He’s a new father digging the creative space his is in and it’s only going to get better from here ..
