Boston Jazz Clarinetist Glenn Dickson of Naftule's Dream

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Boston Jazz Clarinetist Glenn Dickson of Naftule's Dream ..He spoke with Neon Jazz on behalf of his long time jazz band called Naftule’s Dream .. This long running outfit just released a new 2016 album called Blood that has been called emotionally raw with musically fantastic dreamscapes – Over the years, the band has recorded three albums for John Zorn’s label and received critical praise for its recordings and performances in both North America and Europe ..It’s a post-klezmer, rock-inspired, free-jazz-tinged group led by Glenn and he has some great insights into the band, Boston, jazz and this new album ..
