Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Drummer and Composer Harris Eisenstadt  .. He was born in Toronto and went to Maine to attend school then on to Cal Arts for more schooling and now New York City is home – His latest CD is 2016's Old Growth Forests and he opened up about it, along with how he is one of the most respected names in jazz and improvised music, West African and Afro-Cuban drumming – He’s curious and good at what he does with performance credits in jazz, film, theater, poetry, dance, contemporary concert music and opera ..
