Veteran Jazz Guitarist Kevin Eubanks

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Jazz Guitarist Kevin Eubanks .. He was born in Philadelphia, raised with music in his family and was turned onto the guitar by James Brown .. He spent some early years learning and gigging with
legends like Art Blakey, Roy Haynes, Slide Hampton and Sam Rivers – He also played gigs in Jordan, Pakistan, and India on a tour sponsored by the U.S. State Department in his 20s … and he was the face of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as the leader of the band from 1995 to 2010 .. He is now promoting 2017’s  East West Time Line CD and has plenty to say about his life and jazz ..
