Chicago Jazz Bassist Andrew Vogt

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Chicago Jazz Bassist Andrew Vogt – He grew up in the Chicago area and that’s home for him .. He’s on the heels of his latest album - 2017’s AV Club .. And this is after his 2014 album as a producer/primary composer under the group “The Humble Organisms,” and in 2016 jrt released my first EP as a bandleader entitled “For Free.”  - He’s had the chance to already play with Ernie Watts - Donny McCaslin - Nate Watts – He’s got a lot of mileage in his jazz rear view mirror and plenty of stars in his future ..
