NYC Jazz Pianist and Composer Leslie Pintchik

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Pianist and Composer Leslie Pintchik .. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, NY and is now promoting her newest 2017 CD - You Eat My Food, You Drink My Wine, You Steal My Girl! So, before she made jazz her career choice, she was a teaching assistant in English literature at Columbia University – then went on to get her Master of Philosophy degree in seventeenth-century English literature – Her initial foray into the jazz was on the Manhattan scene in a trio with legendary bassist Red Mitchell at Bradley's – that led to her 2004 debut CD So Glad To Be Here -
