A Neon Jazz Interview with Veteran Jazz Guitarist Bruce Forman

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Guitarist Bruce Forman... He has a new project and 2018 CD – Junkyard Duo with Jake Reed and Jay Bellerose – He spoke with us about his childhood in Texas… and moving to San Francisco where he opted out of going to college and opted to perform with local jazz musicians like Ray Brown, George Cables, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, and Woody Shaw – that would lead to a tour with Richie Cole for several years during the late 1970s and early 1980s and getting his own sound refined .. he’s got a lot of mileage on his jazz odometer and wise stories to back them up ..
