Jazz Trombonist, Singer Songwriter Natalie Cressman

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Trombonist, Singer & Songwriter Natalie Cressman .. Her latest album is 2018’s CD The Traces .. So, she began studying trombone with her father – who was a trombonist with Santana for some time .. but she set out to be a dancer rather than a musician – but an injury halted that .. She would go on to study at the Manhattan School of Music and hook up with jam band pioneer Trey Anastasio of Phish and got recruited her for his touring band. Her career has taken on many musical forms ..
