She is spearheading a series of jazz performances titled The Spine Showcases kicking off the second half of its 2019 series with a Kickstarter fundraising campaign. Organized by musicians, the series spotlights Kansas City’s emerging jazz composers. Launched January 24th, 2019 – It’s a diverse range of styles and approaches to jazz are represented .. Like Logan Richardson, Hermon Mehari, Bob Bowman, Peter Schamb, Ryan J. Lee, and so many more .. This is supported in part by the Charlotte Street Foundation and held monthly in the Charlotte Street Capsule Performance Venue ..
