Jazz Singer & Songwriter Joan Watson-Jones

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Singer & Songwriter Joan Watson-Jones ... We spoke with her in mid-April 2020 about her latest 2020 CD Choices and it is a collection of life stories. Her mother was a dancer who spent 1924-26 performing at the Moulin Rouge in Paris and her father was a physician who helped start the Upper Manhattan Medical Group in Harlem  .. Joan is a singer who burns quietly with inner intensity and has a natural sense of swing. She brings an energy to her Jazz that would appeal to new listeners and long time jazz fans ..
