Jazz Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Bobby Selvaggio

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Bobby Selvaggio .. We spoke with him on May 26, 2020 about his latest 2020 CD Live from the Bop Stop… and so much more during this strange COVID-19 world of no live jazz .. This Cleveland-native earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Kent State University – then moved on New York City and earned a master’s degree in jazz performance from the Manhattan School of Music. While in New York, Bobby studied with Joe Lovano, Bobby Watson, Dick Oatts, and Maria Schneider. His story is full of bravado .. Enjoy….
