Chicago Jazz Pianist David Shelton

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Chicago Jazz Pianist David Shelton during early February 2021 about his new 2021 CD Drift with his Trio featuring Beth Kuhn….  He grew-up in Missouri and started accordion lessons at age 6 and had his first public performances at 8.  He went on to Washington University in St. Louis and after college he moved to Chicago and pursued a business career. Music remained a passion & he played frequently at community events and parties. It was only a matter of time before he began to perform professionally on a regular basis .. Get to know him and dig this interview.
