More on Olivia - https://www.oliviahillwrites.com/

Her book is Travel North Black Girl. A newly published memoir of my journey to the wilds of Alaska in the early 80’s. The coming of age of a young woman that had never traveled away from her Midwestern home of Kansas City but finds herself in an isolated indigenous village and married to a Jewish man from New Jersey. A testament to what we bring to a place and what we take away in the process of growth. Get it here: https://www.oliviahillwrites.com/travel-north-black-girl.html#/
