Award Winning Mexican-born Jazz Drummer Antonio Sánchez

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Award Winning Mexican-born Jazz Drummer Antonio Sánchez .. He opened up about his new 2022 CD Shift - Bad Hombre Vol II. This album is the sequel to his 2017 Grammy-nominated Bad Hombre. It includes Dave Matthews & Pat Metheny, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, along with many others. Born in Mexico City, he began playing the drums at age five and performed professionally in Mexico’s rock, jazz and Latin scenes in his early teens while also being a gymnast on Mexico’s Junior National Team ..
