Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Vocalist Tatiana Eva-Marie on the new 2021 CD I Double Dare You with Singer, Playwright, Actor & Historian Vienna Carroll on the New 2023 Single Swing Low Sweet Chariot .. Vienna & The Folk debut the Afro-Roots Single on February 10, 2023 .. It’s the new single from their upcoming CD Harlem: Afro Future Roots, a special collection of Spirituals honoring the 31 shackled-and-chained ancestors who freed themselves from slavery. In 1826 on a boat from Baltimore to deep south death, they threw their captors overboard and escaped to freedom. They we will also be at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC to celebrate the Seneca Village exhibit on Feb 24 & 25, 2023. Vienna is a good friend of Neon Jazz .. Great to catch up about this great project ..
