Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Brain Surgeon, Author, Professor & Public Speaker Gary Simonds .. He is a brain surgeon who has cared for tens of thousands of critically ill patients. He started his career in the Army at Walter Reed and was the Chief of Neurosurgery at a University Hospital for many years. He now teaches a number of subjects to undergraduates and medical students at Virginia Tech. He has written three non-fiction books on burnout and wellness and has recently published a medical/psychological thriller with a paranormal twist entitled, Death's Pale Flag. He has also begun writing blog posts for Psychology Today Online. In addition to teaching and writing he enjoys hiking in the mountains of North Carolina, walking his border collie, Hamish, and playing the guitar and banjo. He intends to teach himself the bagpipes next.event which celebrates and equips people with stories that inspire humanity. We get into so much .. Enjoy this Interview ..
